RDR: The Passage of Time as Art

Now this is stunning… I play Red Dead Redemption one or two hours at least in a daily-basis, and with all the shooting and looting I did not take the time to admire this… It really amazes me that Rockstar did a wonderful job in recreating all the western atmosphere, with all the fauna and flora it has to offer.

So, the folks at Digitalfoundry did an outstanding job compiling some of the passages of time from the game. This is what I call a screensaver, and it must had been pretty time consuming to gather all the scenes, since a day in Red Dead Redemption took approximately one hour to complete. There’s a lot of more details here, as well as a 720p version for download…

Now excuse me, I’ll dry my eyes for a bit…

I’m finally going to pick up RDR this weekend. I probaby shouldn’t cause I still need to finish FF13 (and I really want to) but it’s just too tempting.

I’ll probably grab Modnation as well while I’m at it.
