NEW PlayStation Move Tech Demos are Amazing!

It goes through a dummy and a sword, a RTS (real time strategy), chameleon and fireball tech demos. The chameleon demo was really cool, worth checking out the video just for that!

Sony uses these same tech demos to show 3rd party developers what the PlayStation Move can really do. Hopefully this inspires developers to step up there game create some unique ways to use the Move in games.

    Pretty sweet seeing what you can do with it. It just seems like this is just so much better than the Kinect. Not that it’s by Sony but you really do need something in your hand, seems to me that hands free is very limited.

    No you can see the PS Eye at the bottom off and on. That must be part of the TV I guess.

    Not bad but still not getting Move.

    Yeah I saw the camera on top and thought the same. I am sure we will get games that are 50 times better than that. Those are just tech demos guys.

    I honestly don’t see how anyone could think the Kinect is better then the Move. That shitty Star Wars “Demo” they showed with the Kinect. It looks like the game will have to be put on rails and you just act out the motions to do combat and such. Pretty lame.

    What the Move must have though. Is a navigation controller with the capabilities of the Move controller. Because the ability to move around while using 2 move controllers is a must for me to be fully on board. If they expect to come out with any truly great games.

    Could you imagine Demon Souls with the Move?

    @Leigon213

    I am totally on board with you about Demon’s Souls, I messaged PlayStation about that but they blew me off. How insane would it be to be able to use 2 controllers, one for shield and the other for sword or for the Bow and Arrow?

    I can’t wait for games with that kind of control. I just hope that they implement the move into the games we usually play the right way.
    Like in an RPG, just say your walking around with the navigation controller and you get attacked and then you jump up (or sit) and use move to fight with your sword. After the battle it could just go back to standard gameplay until you get attacked again or need to solve a puzzle. I really don’t think that the move should always have to completely dominate the game. Kinda like how the Dual Shock 3 works now, just certain segments come up in the game where you use the six axis sensors and then seemlessly back to standard play.
    I just hope that they make games completely built around motion control and some that just implement it into regular play, so as not to make the Move too gimicky.

    I do agree with you on having a nav controller with the same capabilities. I think of Sony made any mistakes with Move its that. They could have done so much more with that. I still think its going to be an amazing product given the right support.
