Still thinking of a good use for this honestly. I want to hear your thoughts on this as well. Some ideas:
- Give us your thoughts on recent blog posts
- Talk about recent gaming news
- Give us feedback
- Leave a message for a co-writer
- I can embed these voice mails into a blog post if you’d like so others can hear it. Maybe have a weekly voice mail post?
How do you leave a voicemail you ask? Well it’s on the sidebar at the bottom of the community portion of the site. Click it and enter your phone number and Google will auto-magically call you and connect you to PS3Blog.net
It will always go straight to voice mail though, so don’t expect anyone to pick up the phone. If you leave a Voice Mail please use your name from the blog if your a member so we know who it is.
Note: This Google number is located in IL, USA.

Can’t do international numbers. I’m in New Zealand and always read (and reply) while I’m having my breakfast. I was going to say greetings from this end of the world while I’m having my bowl of Weet Bix and that I platinumed God of War last night.

So answer me this…I tried to set up this google voicemail on my own blog, but when I had a friend try it, it CALLED me and my phone started to actually ring. I thought if it went straight to voicemail, that’s pretty cool…but it basically just redirected them to call me.
Any ideas?

I don’t have a number tied to the Google Number at all. But there is also a option when you create the widget it’s called “Send to voicemail”.

What’s the time-limit on the voicemail? Honestly I will probably just try to leave funny messages while intoxicated…
