PS3 Netflix service gets a search option

We’re still waiting for Netflix to go disc-less, but in the meantime, the service providers have delivered on the UI improvements like they promised. To make content finding much easier, Netflix has added a quick search option to help you out.

This option has yet to reach the Wii, while the Xbox 360 will get it by November.

I never noticed it. Well when ever it was added it was truely needed.

lol, I came across it a long time ago. I think one of the newer features of the search function, though, is that you can add movies to your DVD queue if there is no Watch Instantly option (that one is a couple months old). And it gives you suggestions to movies that ARE available to watch instantly based on an interest in a DVD/BR-only movie. The search ability itself has been around, from what I can remember, since late last year, but that was only for movies available on Watch Instantly and not ones that aren’t.

Can’t wait for the disc-less version, though.
