Battlefield 3 Beta Coming!

Although there was some speculation that Battlefield 3 was in the works, it has now all been confirmed. Just a few minutes ago, EA posted, via Twitter, that if you get the the special edition of Medal of Honor, which is coming out this November, you will be granted free entry into the Battlefield 3 beta! Nothing more than that has been released, but I am sure it’s safe to speculate that it will be hitting the PS3, PC, and the 360.

We are glad to announce that PS3Blog.net will be holding its 6th Red Dead Redemption game night. You can see the recap of the last game night here.
On Saturday July 31st from 8:30PM EST -11:00PM EST or later, Sinlock and Demerson will once again be co-hosting an evening of Bushwacking and Horse theft.
Last we told you something special was in the works and now all is in place for our readers and players to see what The Prize Fight is all about. This week we’ll not only continue double points but we are also going to give you stuff. Three lucky people will receive one of 3 Prizes. An Official PS3Blog.net Tee Shirt. A deck of Red Dead Redemption playing cards. Or a brand new unused bar of Red Dead Redemption SOAP! Just the thing for washing of the stink of horse. Boba Fett Revealed to be in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II
Haden Blackman, the executive producer and writer of the Force Unleashed video game series, announced at the Comic-con, that Boba Fett would make an appearance in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. He also told USA Today, that they, “didn’t want to just throw Boba Fett or other characters in the game just for the sake of making a fan appearance. But it really made sense for (Vader) to hire Boba Fett. He’s one of those characters that really resonates with fans. That cool masked man (with) all the gadgets, he’s a bounty hunter, which has got to be a life of adventure and danger. Boba Fett really has become a rich character over time, and for us to have him show up in a small but pivotal role was exciting.”
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is set to be released on Oct. 26, 2010.

RDR Game Night Recap: July 24th

Here we go with another Red Dead Redemption Game Night Recap. We had a lot of fun as always, but this one was special, because of the double points and stuff that happened during the event, and a special announcement in the end of this article.
It was 9pm Eastern when I tried to join Sinlock and NashtheSlash. This time Old Man McGuffin was reluctant to let me play, but after 15 minutes of arguing I promised him I would not hurt his daughter, and Sinlock finally caught me up in the posse. I met them at El Presidio, and was received by a cannon ball right through my feet. I was history and did not even start to shoot… After shooting some federales we decided to wander around and clean some gang hideouts.
