Earthworm Jim HD Next Week

Gameloft has been busy updating Earthworm Jim with fresh, HD graphics (while still keeping the game generally intact) and will be making the title available to PSN users this Tuesday. Besides the new graphics, they’ve also gotten 2-4 player co-op working on the title (you can see how that works in the trailer) as well as 3 exclusive new levels never before seen in the game.

Man I miss the old 16-bit era.

Solid Snake dominated the last poll with Nathan Drake and Kratos in 2nd and 3rd place. In total we had 89 votes. This current poll you can add your own answer again.

This poll idea was by Oly1Kenobi. Since I used his idea, he gets 200 points. As usual vote in the sidebar.

If you have any ideas for polls please respond to this forum topic, so we can change it up more often. Our goal is to change it up every 2 weeks. We are running low on poll ideas so lets hear some ideas from you. Results of the last poll after the jump.

PS3 3 Million Sales Behind Microsoft’s XBox 360

The race for 2nd place ( or 1st place, depending on how you look at it ), is heating up. Sony has released 1Q 2010 sales data, which fall between April 1 and June 30, and during that time Sony sold 2.4 million PS3s worldwide. With this news, worldwide sales of the PS3 total 38.1m.  A little while ago Microsoft released worldwide sales data of the XBox 360 revealing that the system has moved 41.7 million units worldwide.

Sony has a stellar first party line-up for the rest of 2010 and early 2011. However, with the introduction of the new 360 it’s safe to say the battle for 2nd place is going to be a close one.

Check out these two hilarious fan-made videos featuring Metal Gear Solid’s Snake and Call of Duty’s Ghost. Both have to team up to take down the evil Activistsun before they can develop Modern Gear.

The scenes with Snake in his box and him trying to be stealthy are pretty funny. Part two is even better than the first.

Part 2 after the jump!

Toys R Us offering Buy 1, Get 1 50% off!

This is definitely a good reason to drop by Toys R Us. The retail giant is offering a Buy 1, Get 1 50% off on ALL video games!

Now, we all know this happens only once (or a few couple times) in a blue moon. And although it’s not a Buy 1, Get 1 Free deal, it’s still a good deal so get it while you can.

A little footnote you should be aware of, however. This promo does not include PC games and pre-orders. Also, if the games you purchase have different prices, the discount will be applied to the one that has the lesser price. Got it? Now go get ‘em games at discount!
