Ubisoft Cooking Up Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia Collections? | PS3Blog.net

Amazon France says yes.

The website has a Splinter Cell Trilogy and a Prince of Persia Trilogy listed for retail with both games releasing on the PS3 this November.  From the looks of it Ubisoft is planning to remaster their old PS2 games in similar fashion as the God of War and Sly Cooper Collections.

Of course, this hasn’t been confirmed or denied by Ubisoft yet but what are the chances that this is simply a mistake on Amazon France’s end?

  • A Prince of Persia collection doesn’t spund too bad.
Hopefully this is a sign of other companies other than Sony releasing PS2 collections.

Well, IF they do such a good job as the one done for porting GoW 1 and 2 over at Sony’s and what is being done with the Sly collection then the Prince of Persia collection could find it’s way into my collection. Never been a fan of Splinter Cell so that’s a no.

I could never get into the Splinter Cell games. They sounded brilliant but I had the first for XBox and just didn’t enjoy it. PoP on the other hand, I’m sorry I missed so would consider picking that one up.
