Borderlands Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution DLC Officialy Announced |

Gearbox and 2K have officialy announced a fourth DLC for Borderlands. This is by far one of my all time favorite games, and is highly overlooked in my opinon. This DLC adds 20 new missions, 10 more skill points, three more backpack slots, new enemies including crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps, boss battles, and of course lots of new loot. More after the jump.

Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution invites single-player and co-op fans back to try to suppress a deadly Claptrap revolution using one of four infamous vault hunters. The foursome find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a deadly civil war between the Hyperion Corporation’s well-armed armadas and the ever-amassing army of homicidal Claptraps led by one of the most eagerly awaited characters in the franchise’s history – the cunning Ninja Assassin. As vault hunters, players must put aside their past differences with the Hyperion Corporation, namely the organization’s repeated attempts to wipe them from existence. For a hefty payday, they will join forces to help beat down the mechanical uprising and thwart the dastardly kung-fu expert, the Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin.

Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution will be released sometime in September for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network. I’ll be playing it day one, so add me and we can co-op through the new missions!! Big thanks to premiersoupir for pointing this out to us. You made my day!

  • great news — I love this game. an army of rampaging claptraps sounds awesome! I can’t wait to see the “ninja assassin” claptrap that was hinted at the end of the original game.

  • Yes.. me too I was assuming they had forgoten all about that!

  • yeah, I took it as a sort of bizarre joke (given how useless the claptraps are throughout the game, obviously…….. “I’m leaking!”).

  • lol.. ya I assumed it was just humor as well, until they hinted at it in a DLC.. then 3 DLCs and nothing.. I assumed they were done..
This is definately a welcomed surprise

  • I knew I should have picked this game up when it first came out damn it!! I was so psyched for this game for a long time and then I let someone (Eddie!!) talk me out of it right before it came out. He said that some of the changes they made were for the worse so I decided not to pick it up. I should have stuck with how I fealt about the game in the first place. I’m never going to let someone talk me out of a game again.
Thats why I don’t usually buy games based on magazine reviews because I don’t agree with critics half the time cause most of them are so jaded and judgemental. Just because they don’t like a game doesn’t mean I’m not going to like a game. I learned that a long time ago. Thanks Ed lol (Your still my dogg) lol
