Seems like just yesterday, I was reading how developers have a hard time releasing demos due to expenses and time. I think it’s safe to say that the “Hello Games” team is no longer part of that group. It seems that they’ve done pretty well for themselves. When the Joe Danger game released, the team managed to sell 50k units on the PSN in the first week alone. I’m no mathematician but if you sell a game for $14.99 and manage to sell 50k units it leads me to believe that you would do pretty well for yourself. Now of course there are expenses, but to my knowledge they aren’t as big as when you’re releasing the game digitally. We should all be happy with their success as I am sure this has helped in getting a demo created.

I think it’s ridiculous that there aren’t more demos.. I mean how hard is it to just take one level from a completed game and make it available for play??
Looking forward to trying this one tho!!

They have to criple the code so it’s not the full game that takes time and money to reprogram something. Remember some of these are independent studios so it’s not like they have someone backing them with buckets of money.

+1 I would not buy a game without first trying it. I mean, at least have some preview movies available. Not even all games have that .. !
