in my opinion you should be able to do what you like with your account it's not as if it's hurting anyone.

I called after buying the Big Boss Bundle PSP and tried activating it. I had 1 PSP stolen and 2 Traded into Gamestop. How do I deactivate those? I wasn't aware of deactivating consoles until recently. They deactivated the earliest PSP on my account (which happened to be the stolen one, thank God)

I was surprised over the complete disregard for my satisfaction as their customer. I agree that something needs to be done over at Sony about this account activation. I understand that they need to protect their products. I am a PSN+ Subscriber, I have spent a ton of money on Sony games and products. I have had the option and opportunity several times to hack/modify my Sony products and didn't. To treat me as criminal over something as stupid as someone stealing my console and trading a few others in.

To prove how big a customer I am, I actually bought a PSP Go, I was in college at the time and traveling between home, Fiancées house, college, sister's home and losing several UMDs in the process. I just shelled out the money got one and have only downloaded games I actually play, like Metal Gear and Little Big Planet.

I currently have 2 PS3s activated under my name, Mine and my brother's. His is in the living room as our blu-ray player, I don't want to disconnect and reconnect mine every time I want to play PS3 on the Living room TV. I am also having more problems with my PS3 freezing and showing strange lines in games, mine is an 80GB Motorstorm PS3 (with an upgraded 120GB HD). I have been considering purchasing a new PS3 for more HD space, and better performance, but after that experience with my PSP, and hearing about some of yours, I don't know if I want to run the risk of running out of activations down the road.

To let you know, I emailed Sony today. Two hours later I got a reply saying that I could now activate it on 5 other systems. I got to say; WOW!

I'm all happy now. That was really good service.

It would be nice to login to the psn site and just have control over our accounts instead of calling Sony.

@Sylvain, some games have a xx hour lock out. I know warhawk does. You can not play at the same time and you can not play for 24hour on the other console(s) where you did not play it..

Sony can keep theyre policies and terms I dont really care, its fair, but Sony should at least have the F****ing courtesy of deactivating your system when you send it for repairs. Not just replaced it and take away the right to have 5 ps3's. Im just wondering what will happen when all my ps3's are down, Ill loose all my data and purchases thats what.
