Even though my stepson has the original, I want my own copy because I take better care of my stuff. So what better time to pick it up, so I can get the DLC without having to buy it all on PSN especially since I am a DLC whore.
Its funny, when the whole idea of DLC first came along, I was the first to bash it and call it a major rip off but now I absolutely love it. Its like Fallout 3, I didn’t think Fallout 3 was going to be all that great so I wasn’t going to pick it up but right before Christmas last year I saw that they had it in Wal-Mart for like 30 bucks. So I said what the hell, I’ll pick it up and give it a try. I told the wife that I wanted it for Christmas, so she got it for me and it has sit on the shelf since then. Well I wanted to take a break from FF13 and decided to give it a try last weekend. Almost a week later and I’m really enjoying it, enjoying it way more than I thought I would. So I started reading up on all of the DLCs that are out and I love what I read and now I can’t wait to pick them all up.
Im out of control cause I’ve also picked up all the DLC for Dragon Age. Somebody help me, I’m a DLC junkie whore and I can’t stop!!! lol

Thanks for the additional info, @UbeRamza. DAO DLC is of pretty uneven quality, sadly. The Shale character (free download code with original purchase) is awesome. I kind of liked the new Golems of Armgorakk or whatever. I wanted to like Leliana’s Song but it was too short and oddly set up (and such a disappointment to simply reprise existing locations like the Howe Estate and Denerim). Anyway, I quite liked Awakening, even if most people hated it.

For anyone interested in Borderlands DLC, the Zombie one is all right, kind of a kooky Halloween themed thing that gets rather repetitive. The Underdome I haven’t played — it has terrible reviews. The third, the Secret Armory of General Knoxx, is really awesome. Great new enemy types, three new vehicles, level cap increase to 61 from 50, fun story. It’s really long, too; maybe eight hours of gameplay, I’d guess. Well worth the $10. The upcoming fourth DLC sounds as if it could be promising.

The underdome is fun for about 20 mins then gets boring… its just waves of bad guys the others are good..

I’ll do you one better: Mod a new savegame. Give yourself whatever weapons you want by building them from components yourself (which is the most fun) or by copy/pasting other people’s weapons builds. Build class mods, shields, etc. You can also put yourself anywhere at any stage in the game that you like, change your experience, weapons proficiencies, money, etc.
