Blu-ray Releases for the Week of 8.31.10 + 9.7.10 | PS3Blog.net

It’s taken a couple years but Stardust is finally on Blu-ray. My wife has wanted this for a long time. It’s a good movie too, check it out if you haven’t. I could have sworn I’ve seen The Evil Dead movie released on blu-ray already .. maybe it was just the 2nd one I’m thinking of. Anything anything interest you at all?

Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: Stardust, Forbidden Planet, Chuck: The Complete Third Season, Smallville: The Complete Ninth Season, The Office: Season Six, Supernatural: The Complete Fifth Season, Killers, Mars Attacks!, Lost in Space.

Here are the Blu-ray titles for last week. Highlights are: The Evil Dead, Sons of Anarchy: Season Two, Harry Brown, House, M.D.: Season Six, The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season.

Comments

  1. Stardust is severely underrated. I thought the trailers were atrocious, which no doubt had something to do with it, but saw it because nothing else was on, and wound up loving it. Will have to grab the bluray!
As for the others, Chuck is great TV, and I have a soft spot for Smallville and Supernatural, although I’m unlikely to buy the latter two.

  2. Might get Startdust and will definitely get the 3rd season of Chuck.

  3. what about evil dead is it anygood?

  4. Honestly I’ve never seen the first one, only the 2nd and 3rd. Somebody told me to watch the 2nd one instead of the first so I did.

  5. i love mars attacks got to get it.

  6. all the evil dead movies are ok.

  7. evil dead looks like a cheesy horror film, but I guess if you liked House of a 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, I guess I should like this, cause they are cheesy as well but that how Rob wanted them. Thanks bartman201 for the info. on evil dead

  8. mulligank

My family loves stardust will get it for sure

  9. evil dead 2 is a very similar story to the first, which is why many advise skipping it, as it just had a smaller budget.
It’s worth seeing if you love the rest of the series, are interested in low budget films, or want to see where Sam Raimi (Spiderman, Drag Me to Hell) or Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice) first started.
It is good, just don’t expect a film as well polished as Evil Dead 2 or Army of Darkness. It’s also not as funny, it’s a more serious take.

  10. Never seen stardust.. Mulligan.. buy it and bring it over already lol

  11. thanks Vngshr
