Blu-ray Releases for the Week of 10.18.10 + 10.11.10



Biggest release this week is Predators. Which was a …. ok Predator movie. Honestly I was disappointed you can read my whole review on the movie here (contains spoilers though). Anything interest you this time?

Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: Predators, Apocalypse Now (Three-Disc Full Disclosure Edition) (Apocalypse Now / Apocalypse Now Redux / Hearts of Darkness), Psycho (50th Anniversary Edition), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (35th Anniversary Edition), Moulin Rouge, Seven Samurai, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Ultimate Edition), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Ultimate Edition).

Highlights for the week of Oct. 21 are: How to Train Your Dragon, Ladies & Gentlemen: The Rolling Stones, Wolverine and the X-Men: The Complete Series, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings – The Complete Series, Red Dragon, WWII in Hi Def, The BBC High-Definition Natural History Collection 2 (Life / Nature’s Most Amazing Events / South Pacific / Yellowstone), The Original Christmas Classics (Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer / Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town / Frosty the Snowman / Frosty Returns).

    Predators I will picking this up tonight at midnight good movie, lot better then alien vs. predator movies but thats just me, and love the gags from the first movie and how they put them in this movie and it was done pretty good.

    Definitely getting Severn Samurai. Looking for a review to see how good the transfer really is.

    Picked up How to Train your Dragon.. GREAT movie..
    Wish Predators was better.. might get it eventually tho..

    Probably going to pick up Wolverine and the X-men too.. never saw the complete series, but the ones i saw where pretty good.

    I never saw any of those, good stuff huh? Let me know of a good episode to watch to see if I like it.
