PS3Blog.net Game Night | Preferred Days and Times Poll
Posted by Tosh in Game Night, Poll, PS3 on October 26th, 2010
We started a conversation on the Facebook page about this already but we need a more organized way of collecting the data, thus a poll. From the input we got over on Facebook, it seems like Tuesday or Wednesday works for most so far. But let’s hear from more people so we have a better idea. Make sure to select your correct time zone as well.

Halloween Pets in PS HOME
Posted by Oly in Media, PlayStation Home, PSN on October 25th, 2010
Heavy Water, has just released some house pets for PS Home.
“The 2010 Halloween Edition of Heavy Pets includes 3 active furniture objects that will spawn 3 “pets” each when placed in a user’s apartment. The three furniture pieces and their respective pets are: a tombstone (creating ghostlings), a brazier (creating flaming skulls), and a belfry (creating vampire batlings). Each of the three created pets are flying/hovering and will randomly path through the user’s apartment, reacting to placed furniture and each apartment’s layout.”
Blacklight Tango Down Infiltrates PSN Tomorrow
Posted by Eddie in PLAYSTATION Store, PSN on October 25th, 2010
This formally Xbox 360 timed exclusive is set to launch tomorrow on PSN and looks to be a very nice fast paced fps. It takes place 25 years in the future and you take control of an elite covert ops team. The weapons are completely customizable giving literally trillions of weapons combos.
There have been many additions and upgrades that are coming to the PSN version of this game. The game was fully updated for PSN as well as having a “Join in progress” option now. There will also be a new map added as well.
I believe the price will be $14.99

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Launch Trailer Including New Creatures!
Posted by Oly in Media, Red Dead Redemption on October 25th, 2010
Here is the official launch trailer for Undead Nightmare that is coming tomorrow on the PSN. This is by far the best looking DLC to date. This trailer also shows the four horses of the Apocalypse, as well as a new mythical creature, so if you don’t want that spoiled, don’t watch.
Don’t forget, for PS+ members, 20% off all the Red Dead Redemption DLC, including Undead Nightmare, also starts tomorrow.
WarDevil Issued Peace Treaty, Reportedly is Cancelled
IGN is reporting that the former PS3 Exclusive WarDevil is no more. It was to be a huge project by Ignition Studios. This has been up in the air since late September when we heard the London based studio was closing its doors.
We last saw WarDevil at E3 2006 running at 60fps in 1080p. Many people were impressed and have since been eager to hear more even though little was known about this title.
IGN is still awaiting confirmation from Ignition.
Apple’s Money Burning Holes in Their Pockets, May Bid for Adobe, Facebook, Sony, Disney…Wait…Sony???
I’ve come across several articles today about Apple planning to purchase 1 or many of other large popular companies. This seems pretty reasonable as they have 51 billion dollars waiting to be spent with no debt. I, however, find myself hard pressed to believe these rumors even now that some official editorials are reporting the information such as the New York Times or Barrons Financial News Site.
What is most likely, is that if there is any truth to these rumors, then Apple will most likely be making a bid for a company within hours from now. thesixthaxis.com believes that the bid will mostly likely be made for EA but does not support this with a source.
No matter what happens, it’s going to be a crazy day for the US market.
I really hope a purchase for Sony is not made. While I think there are many pro’s and cons to said purchase, I prefer things the way they are. How about you?
