Hulu Plus to All PS3 Owners Next Week |

As many of you know, Hulu Plus is currently available to a select few through an invite only if you are a PlayStation Plus holder. Starting next week everyone that has a PS3 will have access to Hulu Plus, “making the PlayStation 3 the first and only console dedicated to gaming to offer the service”.

The Hulu Plus subscription service offers full current season runs of hit TV programs from major broadcast programming studios and will add to the more than 27,800 movies and TV episodes already available on the PlayStation Store, providing the most exhaustive catalogue of entertainment content to PlayStation Network members.

  • Lan

Awesome. Too bad I have no interest for paying for Hulu

  • At least they are giving you the option Lan. Another good thing is I see that Hulu might be dropping the price from $9.99 to $4.95 a month.

  • Is this a kind of Netflix competitor ?
Will it have quality content in Canada too ?

  • Hulu streams televisions shows, movies and content from a number of different studios inlcuding Fox, ABC, Disney, MTV, Sony, Warner Bros, National Geographic, PBS, Lionsgate, Biography, and NBC. Hulu Plus will still have ads but for about $10 month viewers will get a more comprehensive set of TV shows.

Currently the regular Hulu isn’t available in Canada so I don’t think we will see Hulu + anytime soon. They would have to work something out over there with the different networks.

  • if the price dropped to $5 a month i might consider Hulu+, but i already get enough content with Netflix

I don’t see how they can beat what I pay for every cable channel available now…. FREE! Internet… FREE!!!

Gotta love being a cable guy!

  • AAARGH… “available to all US PS3 owners”…

It sounded too good to be true ='(

  • All meaning, PSN+ not required. They also can’t help it if Hulu is not around in Canada. That has nothing to do with them. I am sure you will get the app but won’t be able to pay for a subscription to Hulu+

  • O Canada… Woe is me.
