Treyarch, the developer of the latest installment of Call of Duty, has revealed future patch notes for the PS3 version of the shooter. Treyarch has given the following priority in their future patches
- Improved matchmaking
- Improved match and host selection
- Additional improvements to party system
- Weekly and Monthly leaderboards stats reporting incorrectly for kills, deaths and assists
Good to know that the developer is actively working to improve their game for all consoles

Hopefully they get them out relatively quickly. It’s one thing to identify problems, its another to actually fix them. The party system and matchmaking are god awful.

Well based on how quickly they rolled out the PC performance patch I’d guess that it shouldn’t be too long before the PS3 issues are patched as well

You’re thinking of the PC version, the console version is still P2P

The reason that pc updated faster than the xbox or ps3 versions is because of the approval system. Pc is open. The console version has to be certified by Sony BEFORE it can go out over the PSN. That adds a week at the least to the patch time.

Note that the framerate issues are due to your long friends list. Create an alternate account or prune your friends list to get a better framerate. That’s because the game polls the servers for every friend on your list to get info about them. “SoAndSo just unlocked the Galil.” etc.
