Dragon’s Lair Slaying the PSN

Yesterday PSN Stores did some digging and alerted us that Dragon’s Lair might be hitting the PSN. Today they received word that the game is in fact coming to the PSN later this month. Digital Leisur did not make an official announcement, so the exact release date and price point of the game was not confirmed.

Here’s a video of the classic:

Talk about going way back.

It will be in HD but I am not 100% sure of that.

It’s amazing that this company keeps milking the exact same game over and over. There have been several dozen releases of this already. No improvements, same content, same everything…

I rented the blu-ray version. Great for 30 minutes of nostalgia entertainment. Beyond that, what else is there?

This is cool news. I just hope it’s cheap. 🙂

I’ve spend a lot of money in the arcade halls on this game…
Time for the Lizard King to pay me back.. I want it for free!

I used to love this game back in the day. My uncle worked for a arcade game repair center and had games in his garage all the time…this was one of them. I remember thinking “wow, it can’t get any better than this” when I first saw it.

I’ve never played this game so let me get this straight…It’s a “quick-time event” cartoon?

Oh well, at least it’s not a JRPG. If I never saw another one of those for the rest of my life I’d be happy.
