Gran Turismo 5 is quickly becoming the PS3′s most anticipated release of the year. Soon after Sony revealed the official release date for the racing sim it’s sales rank sky rocketed some 1300% on Amazon.com. Today UK retailer ShopTo.net announced that all of their warehouse staff are coming in over the weekend and working double shifts in preparation for GT5′s release. Could Gran Turismo 5 detrone Call of Duty: Black Ops as the best selling game of the year?

Man, if they outpace Black Ops, which is already said to be one of, if not, THE fastest selling piece of entertainment, that would be plain ridiculous, especially taking into consideration that GT5 is an exclusive and BO is a multiplatform

i doubt it will even beat blk ops sales on the PS3 alone..
