Two New LBP2 Featuretts That Continue to Amaze

This game is definately amazing. Don’t forget, there will be a Beta Expansion for PS+ subscribers early next month, a LBP2 Level Demo, and a mini stand alone game also in Dec. More info on those here.

The Grappling Hook Featurette is below.

This featurette was made before the new LBP2 release date, but was just released. Thefore the release date shown at the end is wrong. The new dat to get your hands on this amazing game will be January 18, 2011.

Too many good games releasing just in the first 3 months of 2011 alone. But of course LBP2 > everything else.

So who here’s gonna fill the Create and Share part of Sony’s equation? Had fun with LBP, but never wanted to invest the energy in making my own levels. Did any of you make LBP maps?

I made about 3 levels.. 2 complete garbage and one decent short one.. Takes way too long for someone like me to make a good one

I made several levels, a few mario themed levels which there were millions of lol. Plus also made som unique creations to go in those levels as well. Yeah it takes a lot of time to create but its worth it in the end when people play them and you get comments saying how much fun they had playing your creation. very gratifying

LBP was bomb, and this game will for sure be amazing as well. I still play LBP with my friends.

I’ve been constantly amazed at the level of level design some people have been able to nail with just the beta toolset. It’s amazing. Everything from top down twin stick shooters to micro machines like kart racing, first person shooters and 3D levels. Makes me wonder why I’m such a retard when it comes to level design.
