@premier: If you buy it second hand, you can have the VIP feature for 10 bucks or something. It is a less agressive form of online pass.

It’s December 1st, and the new maps are out. And what about the servers? We played with 8 people in the Cold War map (4 vs 4). People are still stuck to ‘the other fps’ and I can’t hope for much but an increase of 10 to 20% in the number of people playing bc2. Bc2 is way better than its rival but people like frag-fests more.

buy the vip version. used to be 70 bucks when it came out. some guy was selling a brand new vip copy on ebay around the release. not sure why so cheap but i grabbed it. im sure u can find vip copies for cheap now or cheaper.
