From the creator of the Yakuza franchise comes a new sci fi shooter for the PS3 and 360. Binary Domain takes place in Tokyo during the year 2080 where humans and machines are at war. Sounds like a played out concept? It is but the game’s director Toshihiro Nagoshi hopes to add more of a human element to his project.
One of the key elements of this is the pursuit of strong and differentiated human AND robot AI. Aiming to have the world’s best AI was essential to bring a true realization of the concept of life to the players, through the story and the action within the gameplay.
The inclusion of online modes has allowed us to transform the game from a mere battle field into a field of survival, promises Toshihiro Nagoshi.
Binary Domain’s release date is currently TBA.

Interesting take. Terminator and Metal Gear Solid 4 had a baby and now Sega will raise it!

The software running those robots is lousy. It can’t seem to aim properly.
I’ll pass.

When I saw that trailer.. Google ads showed the blu-ray of “iRobot”.
The robots from the trailer kinda reminded me of that movie… weird tech Google is implementing.. spooky.
