PlayStation Plus Getting a Sackful Over Next Two Weeks


PlayStation Store Senior Manager Grace Chen has announced that PlayStation Plus members will be getting a whole sackful of goodies over the next 2 weeks, just in time for the festive period. I guess Grace is looking to play the part of Santa Claus for PS3 gamers as he puts his hands into the big sack and pulls out some mouth watering content.
 
To Kick things off, on December 7th, the LittleBigPlanet spin-off Sackboy Prehistoric Moves is the game PS+ members will be getting their grubby mits on for free - and a whole week before anyone else does! Now that is a steal!
 
For PSP gamers, Marvel Super Hero Squad is being offered with a staggering 50% discount on December 14th. European PlayStation Plus subscribers were given a full season download of Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, regularly priced at around $34.99. This time around, US subscribers are going to be able to download all five episodes on the same date.

    The free LBP move game is interesting since we’ll be getting a game before everyone else AND it’s a new game. Already bought Sam and Max when the season was $25 so this is the first time I’m actually a bit annoyed about that being the free game. Oh well, can’t win them all.

    What’s weird is that we already got Fieldrunners a while back and that’s a bit scary because it might mean that some of the free games of months past will be made available again and that’s never good for those of us that subscribed on day one.
