Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (Episodes 1-5) is now available FREE for PS+ members, however some are getting error codes when trying to download it. The official PlayStation Blog, had this to say, “We’re aware of some PlayStation Plus users getting error 80023102 when downloading Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse (Episodes 1-5) and will provide a solution shortly.”

odd — worked just fine for me yesterday evening. downloaded and installed the whole set, though I haven’t fired up the game yet, so if the problem doesn’t present until that point, then maybe I just haven’t realized it yet.

hey what I want to know is where is my promised winter dynamic theme free for psn+? am I just missing it, it did sony ditch it? disappointing — one of the major benefits of psn+ to me are the free dynamic themes. sad, huh?

The problem with the game was upon downloading it so you should be good to go. Not sure about the theme tho

I tried again late last night and was still getting the same download error. is there any update as to when Sony thinks they will have this fixed?

@RD: No set time as to when they’ll fix it but they’re “working on it”. The Sam and Max Sesason 3 would cost you $20-35 and PS+ is $50 for a year so if you like point and click adventure games now is a great time to subscribe.

I haven’t gotten an email on this, but may have a psn message sitting on my PS3, will check when i get home tonight. did peps that got the code get it via email or psn message?
