I really enjoyed the movie “Red”. I wasn’t expecting much when I went into the theater. But it was a very fun movie, John Malkovich was very funny in it. I knew when I walked out of the theater this was a must buy for me. I stopped watching the Saw series after the 2nd one, just didn’t interest me anymore so let us know if the last installment was any good. Anything interest you this week?
Here are the Blu-ray titles for this week. Highlights are: Secretariat, Red (Special Edition), Red (Movie-Only Edition), The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, Saw 3D: The Final Chapter, Saw: The Final Chapter, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Dead Space: Aftermath, Color Purple, Open Season 3, Nature: Wolverine: Chasing the Phantom.

I was curious about red, but never got around to watching it in the theatre. I’ll have to rent it or something.
did you all read ‘the girl who’ series? I struggled through the first half of the first book (tedious!) but once the action picked up, I really got into the characters and their histories. finished the trilogy. watched all the films as well (found swedish versions online of the second and third films, which hadn’t released yet). first film was probably the best adaptation. the subsequent ones were ‘made for tv’ films, and they felt like it.

Then we’re two!
However I want to rent Red because I haven’t seen it on the theaters.
And what’s the deal with this “Dead Space: Aftermath”? I had never heard of it.

Couldn’t get through the first book… Barely got through the first movie, but I actually thought it was really good. Will try to get to the 2nd and third, but with US adaptations coming… may wait for those.
Want to rent Red as well, and might pick up Open Season 3 for the kids
