Single Player Killzone 3 Demo Hitting PSN Next Month |

Sony has announced that a demo for KillZone 3 will be available on February 16th via the PlayStation Network. PSN Plus subscribers will get their hands on the same demo a few days early on the 9th. The demo will be for single player only and will take place in the Icy Incursion level. If you’re fortunate enough to own a 3D TV Sony will be releasing the demo in 3D along side the 2D version.  Non 3D TV owners are still in for a treat though. The 2D version of the demo will be the only one that will offer split-screen co-op.

  1. This is going to be great, I think they are really starting to make the PS+ standout. It’s going to be cool to do a little split screen action.

  2. BTW.. for US it is the 15th and the 8th for PS+ users.

  3. very cool! will be fun to give kz3 a go. it should look great, from what we’ve been seeing.

Was in the multiplayer beta and loved the revamped player movement and controls. Will have to check this out to see if the revamping of the controls happens in single player too.

  5. They did it for the entire game so I doubt they would remove it from the single. I think that was one of the changes a lot of fans wanted.

  6. interesting in play single player. Had a wee shot of the beta but didnt play it too much

  7. Cool Beams!! not sure how and why people had troubles with the controls before. I suppose they better copy cat Cod controls exactly so people stop crying so much.

  8. I find it very strange that they are separate downloads. I find it extra strange you have to download 2d version to taste split screen. Maybe the 3d video’s taking up extra space that they didn’t want people to download extra stuff?

Nice I hope its move compatiable!!!

  10. Awesome, demo’s arent that popular these days. suprised they released one.

  11. It’ll work with move right?

I really wanted to see a serious game made with it in mind. (then maybe I’ll get one)

  12. Any word on how big the demo will be (in terms of download)?

Hopefully its not as crazy as the recent 12GB that I saw for another demo!!
