The fourth season of GT.TV kicked off last week with never-before-seen footage of Twisted Metal and an interview with creator David Jaffe. In this extended cut version of what aired on the TV show, Jaffe shares details about what fans can expect from the online multiplayer modes to the usual wacky gameplay that makes Twisted Metal…twisted.

hopefully this will be like Twisted Metal Black on steroids, but this games doesnt look as dark, well it doesnt look dark it all, not saying it wont be a good game it will definitely have better graphics, and the game play seems to be well put togather by watching this trailer.

This game is awesome. I played it for about an hour at E3 last year and had a ton of fun. This video shows 10x as much as they did on the actual Spike show. Thanx for sharing!

@ Dave – I’ve read that this game will not be as dark as TMB because the M rating prevented it from selling very well. Jaffe has stated in the past that this game will be rated as Teen in order to appeal to a wider audience and improve sales numbers.
Somewhat disappointing to me because I loved Black, but oh well. I’m just happy to have a new Twisted Metal. This is the series that made me tranfer my loyalty from Nintendo to Sony.

@Bearded_Warrior,
so they are going back to the TM and TM2 days, which I loved TM2 for PSone, but I really loved TMB cause of the dark storylines when you beat the game, and the sweet tooth part lol were he killed clipso lol, and how clipso just messed with lots of the characters at end lol, it was definitely dark and TWISTED I loved it it was the best. so I hope maybe this game will be like TM2 then hopfuly lol.

Are they still aiming for a T rating or will they decide on an M rating after all?
Also, I will miss the multiple character-based storylines. Those were always fun, but I guess it’s cool that they’re focusing on fleshing Sweet Tooth’s character and story out more. Would be nice to see the same treatment for everyone else, but since gameplay will be the biggest draw, it’s not too big a deal.

Wow, I love the new weapons they showed off. The gurney remote bomb is great, the tow truck that can launch cars, helicopter battles. Awesome stuff!
