Fresh after yesterday’s details surrounding Dark Souls, a.k.a Project Dark, a.k.a the spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls, new footage of the dark fantasy has been released courtesy of Eurogamer. While the gameplay looks similar to Demon’s Souls, you may notice that the graphics have been touched up a bit. The trailer has Dark Souls slated for a 2011 release for the PS3 and 360.

Demon’s Souls to the core.
I want to see what they’ve done to the leveling system, it was the only thing i didn’t like about DS. I got bored waaay before reaching the cap.

I was given a copy of Demon’s Soul by a friend who ound it too hard to play; I’m looking forward to starting it this weekend, and having seen this trailer I can’t wait for the sequel…Is that pathetic, seeing as how I haven’t even played the original yet, lol?

Just bought Demon Souls recently and will get around to it sometime lol..
This Trailer looks awesome.. That Hand thing is super creepy!

OK I have been playing DS original for the second time around and it is by far one of the best RPGs out there. I am a little skeptical of this new version as it is not made by the same companies and will not involve some of the best things about the original. For example the sould tendency was really interesting to me. I also think this new version will be easier and shorter and less RPG heavy. For all of these reason, and the fact that it is now on Xbox, are why I will not be spending money on this game.
