PlayStation Plus Subs Hit Jackpot!

Next week 2/8, the Playstation Plus subscribers are getting some PlayStation goodness. First I think it’s awesome that the subs are getting the brand new Stacking game for free. This is the first day that it’s coming out and the subs are getting it for free, pretty freaking cool. I never thought that we would get any brand new games included in the PS+ package but here to prove me wrong is the Official PlayStation Blog. The price for everyone else will be $14.99.

Hit the jump to find out more:

The subs will also be getting an automatic download (if option is enabled) of Killzone 3′s Single Player Demo. This seems to be exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers only. We are also going to get our dose of Qore Episode 33 which comes free to PS+ subs and 6 Pocket Fighter avatars for free.

wow, thats a lot of content.. hope stacking is cool.. this is a game i’d be tempted to buy. Plus members’s added bonus is the rewards system, which i’ve liked thus far.

Are all these games retroactive? I mean, when you subscribe at a later date, do you have access to these games? And since my user is a sub-account to my purchase account (dunno why I did that exactly..), would that account use the games provided to the master account?

@Emrah: I believe that once the free games leave the PSN+ store, you can’t get them. On the other hand, I think that if you download a free game and then delete it, you should still be able to get it again later, provided that you’re still a plus member.

Seems like it’s getting better and better which makes sense for a new service.

Not sure about the sub account thing since I have never tried these but yeah once they take the games off they are off. If you join now for instance you will not get what we got a month or 2 ago if it was taken off line.

However if you get a game and then stop being a PS+ sub and rejoin it a year from now you should be able to pull the games you downloaded a year ago. I think that is how it works.
