There is sort of a trickle down effect from the Infiltrator as well. Because the disguise is so good and the shotgun is so overpowered, many people who aren't playing Infiltrator will play Tactician in order to use spot and mark catch them earlier. This seems to result in many games where nobody is fixing ammo caches, nobody is healing teammates, and nobody is providing cover fire.

I've spent about six hours with the "beta" and I get the feeling that upon release day, much of the game is going to consist of Infiltrators and Tacticians because that is what makes it easiest for people to kill opponents (completing objectives be damned, the leveling system doesn't really require it :( ). My primary class in KZ2 was engineer and I will never play that in KZ3 due to the sheer number of people camping on ammo caches for easy kills. I don't know if it is strictly a failure of game design, or that there are more COD "shoot first, think later" players now or what, but it isn't nearly as enjoyable or coordinated or logical as KZ2 was.

It's a shame because the controls are in fact better, and there is a better assortment of side arms to unlock. But I get the feeling this is going to be like Halo Reach where they turn a more COD-esque leveling system where all you have to do to rank up is shoot people, and as a result that is all people will do. I just don't find it that interesting when half the people playing don't care about winning the match but would rather use every cheap trick possible to boost their K/D ratio and pretty much ignore the point of the match. Maybe they figured this is what had to be done to sell to the COD audience, but they ruined a great thing in the process.
