Looks like Neptunia has actually been delayed across the board until next week. Most retailers that are going to offer it have moved the date up to 2/25/11.

I have to give credit to NIS America, as they took the time to e-mail those of us who preordered on the store with sincere apologies for the delay due to the weather, and bumped up our shipping options at no charge (ie. I got priority mail, but they bumped it to express mail free). They get +1 in my book for being proactive with their customers.

I've picked up Neptunia from NIS America's online store, but, unfortunately, it's delayed due to weather messing with their shipments.

I wanted it because it just seems like an over-the-top, tounge-in-cheek RPG, much like 3D Dot Game Heroes is a tounge-in-cheek homage to Zelda. I'm a sucker for these kinds of games, no matter how B-rated they might be, and I will undoubtedly have tons of fun with it.

I wish I could say I cared about MvC3, but I'm kind of tired of the mega-super-combo fighting genre. That's how I know I'm getting old. I miss the days of SF2 Championship Edition and MK1 and MK2 in the arcade. Other than Dead or Alive and SF4, I really haven't been into the fighting genre. I'm keeping an eye on Mortal Kombat though, just to see if they really do reinvent it back to the old arcade days.

"Next up, we have a title for the die hard JRPG fans only."

No you don't.

Hyperdimension Neptunia is really for anyone older than 15 who can remember the console wars! The star of the game is the female personificaction of a SEGA Neptune, an aborted attempt to combine the Mega Drive / Genesis and 32X (which itself was originally supposed to be a stand-alone console). It never saw the light of day thanks to the imminent release of the Saturn (another stellar job for SEGA).

Every character in the game is a personification of some type of game console or platform, much like the moe-tans of 2Chan fame. I want to pick this up just for the over-the-top references and humor I've seen in the previews. This looks adorable and fun!

wow, i didn't realize MvsC3 was already here!

I'm curious about it, I'm interested in the "easy mode" (casual controlling that enables special moves with the touch a a button), maybe I can convince my girlfriend to play with me (:
