NFS: HP, Three New Content Packs Arriving Soon!


Not sure how many of you have picked this game up but it’s definitely one of my favorite Need for Speed games. I got this game around a month and a half ago and even though I haven’t put that much time into it, I like it a lot. The mechanics of the game as well as the music is really well put together. As soon as the game starts it gets the juices flowing, and it continues all through out the game. Anyone who is into the NFS games should really look into getting this, now that we have all that out of the way let’s get down to business.

On Feb 22nd

  • Armed & Dangerous brings two new online game modes and 3 achievements/trophies. “Most Wanted” is an open world battle where the cops are out to bust a specific racer whilst the racers battle to protect them. In “Arms Race” it’s every man for himself as racers use their full arsenal of weaponry on each other.

    • On March 1st

  • Lamborghini Untamed adds the legendary Lamborghini Diablo, Countach and Sesto Elemento as both cops and racers. There are also 10 new events and four new achievements/trophies.

    • On March 8th

  • Porsche Unleashed pack adds the Porsche 911 Turbo (1982 Edition), Porsche 959, and 911 Speedster as both cops and racers. You’ll also get 10 new events and four new achievements/trophies to collect.

    • Each pack is going to cost you $6.99, hopefully PS+ subs can get some kind of a discount on these. Check out the video after the jump:

      I’m very happy with all these packs (though we already have a lot of Porsches). What I really want to see is some new car makers. The Gumpert was nice, but everyone is still begging for Ferraris. If only they let go of that “no damage to our perfect cars” stance. Did they do that with Gran Turismo 5, I wonder? Another brand I’d like is Lotus. The new ones look amazing, and the older ones are great too! And c’mon, the Lexus LFA is a must!

      Great summary luke, NFS games have been a long standing favorite for me and HP was a great addition to the series and is fast becoming my favorite as well. Fast paced arcade racing action is always fun!!

      Sometimes this is much more fun than GT5, sorry.

      New DLCs sound great.
