So they made AoE before, huh? Also, for the controller layout, why not map things to the D-Pad? That way you can quick select 4 traps, then press one of the L or R triggers to change what traps are available on the D-Pad, select it by pressing left, right, up or down and then place it with the right analog stick (which should control a mouse like cursor).
