Mortal Kombat Tower Challenge |

IGN just published this video featuring fresh additions to the new Mortal Kombat game. It’s a brand new game mode where you can play 300 different wacky challenges, including slots, zombie killing, upside down fights and many other crazy things. It reminds me of the Street Fighter “trash the car” level, but with many more options.

It’ll be a great deal of fun to all the fans and it promises a challenging and rewarding experience for the people that can get all the way to the top. I’m very excited about this game, MK is my favorite fighting franchise and all the new additions look pretty great.

How about you? What do you think?

Interesting. If the baby wasn’t due in 2-3 weeks I might have pre-ordered this. As it is, I’ll get it in the second half of the year.

this is a very good looking game, it seems when ever I watch new interviews etc… I keep likeing it better so I hope it wont be a let down.

When is it being released? I hought this was far out? Looks like MK is back in the big picture!

  • Man, really looks like they did bring the game back to its core style of gameplay while adding a bunch of stuff to keep it fresh.

    In other words, do want!

  • Sorry for the double post:

Beastxjason: When is it being released? I hought this was far out? Looks like MK is back in the big picture!

April 19th is the date I’ve read across several sites.

  • I’ll def give it a gamefly. Looks fun.

Coolest part is they did not try to add “3D” features or 3D environment, that imo adds nothing to gameplay.

It seems the game has a lot of focus on the background story of the characters and many (if not all) classic MK characters are back. So this is (seems to be anyway) a real treat to all fans or nostalgia freaks!

  • April 19th according to Amazon. This game looks pretty awesome! I’m happy that they added a non traditional element to the game. Tower Challenge sounds like a blast

Not Bad. I think I will enjoy this more then MvC3

  • Definately worth checking out, not sure if I’d buy it to keep though….
