Sure, it gets consumers all excited about the potential storyline directions the game might take, but the spoiler threat is exceedingly high and as with 'pedro's' comment, it ruins a player's virgin experience. Personally, I don't look at the trophies until after my first play through because I'm usually to excited about popping in a new game to bother to check them. Sometimes I'll take a glimpse though. Specially in RPG games because you can see many plot happenings you wouldn't otherwise. It can ruin your experience sometimes. I really think seeing all trophies is total nonsense.
