After the massive earthquake and tsunami that hit Northern Japan on March 11th, those in the country’s gaming industry have taken the necessary steps to help conserve electricity. Konami has shut down it’s servers for it’s online game, Metal Gear Online, until further notice. Square Enix has also done the same with their mmorpgs Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV. In SE’s case they expect the servers to be online in a week. There will be no chargers for FFXI’s April pay cycle as a result. Click here to find out how you can help the victims of this disaster.
