I’m sure most of you saw that IGN bashed the PS3 version of Crysis 2. I’m not going to link to the article because they obviously played the fan boy card for hits. Executive Producer Nathan Camarillo put the article to rest during an interview with Jeff Rubenstein of the PlayStation Blog.
I’ve gone on the record saying that if you stick PS3 and 360 side by side I would challenge anyone to find any meaningful difference. I don’t see it at all.
I spoke with a friend when the article hit and he was bummed by it. I told him this was IGN and they have done this numerous times to bring hits to their poorly written articles. Having played all 3 versions I can say there is no difference on the console versions. PC is in its own category as there are many variables that can make it look better rig to rig.

I keep hearing that the PS3 got screwed with Crysis 2 but I haven’t really seen anything solid to prove it. Now I haven’t had a chance to try the game because I can’t connect but I am sure that will clear soon.

IGN has done down a very, very dark hole in the past 2 years. Nowadays is all “the Wii is a fad”, 360 rulez, and posting flame bait to get extra hits and justify their presence in the “industry” with extra revenue from clicks.

ah, interesting. well, that may well be true — I don’t know. but I will say that they have a literate staff who write cogent reviews. I usually respect their opinions, even if I don’t always agree with their conclusions.

@premiersoupir: I get my reviews from everywhere else except IGN. I go with Ps3blog.net, Nintendolife, Movemodo, Infendo and word of mouth.
