Royalty32: Im on the fence on ps+. is it woth the 50 bucs. I have people on my friends list with ps plus and ive asked them whats so good about it. I swear each answer was the same. Its cool at first cuz u get demos first and the game trail stuff but then it just comes out from non-ps+ members anyway so whats the point. I want ps+ but then i dnt. Somebody who enjoys what they get with ps+ plz comment and inform me on what im missing.

PS+ is a joke…I am a PS+ member and here’s what i have issues with:

1. those “free” games ARE NOT FREE…they are basically RENTED in the fact that once you stop paying for PS+ you cannot use them unless you purchase PS+ again..or purchase the product itself…useless feature imo..

2. the discounts you get are varied…sometimes they discount stuff you actually WANT…but for me most of the time they discount games that nobody even pays attention to much (I base this on the rates the products make since you have to purchase the game to rate it)

3. with the Free games it’s not really stuff you want…most of them have been mediocre games or just crap…sometimes they deliver awesome stuff (spyro series) but other times they just release stuff like digger HD..which imo wasn’t really a great game

4. the only GOOD thing about PS+ is the beta access and access to early demos…but the issue is we don’t get much of these…not many betas or early demos.

pretty much it was my first and LAST purchase of PS+

but im just telling you what i dislike about PS+…if you still want it after my mini rant…feel free to throw your money at it…but imo it needs to change….or at least make the “free” games ACTUALLY free that i can keep even after leaving PS+

I find that the minis in general are trash. But I’ve picked up tons of free games that I have enjoyed. Quite a few free themes too, they are pretty nifty ^^

I agree with Eddie, I hold the free games to a lower standard then that of a game that I pay full price for.

Dean147: some of the extra features like Automatic downloads and Cloud saving make it worth it too. Imagine never having to sit and wait for an update to download and install ???
