F.E.A.R. is a paranormal FPS. All of the scares in the first one were supernatural ones, since there is nothing creepier than a little girl with long black hair covering her face, and crawling at you suddenly when you’re moving through a vent. Although the scare factor, as they say, isn’t as high as other games i.e. Resident Evil, or Dead Space. Though the few scares they had could be really effective. For me there is one moment in the first FEAR game that made me pause it and leave the room for 3 hours, just had to leave it be for a while XD. I really enjoyed the first F.E.A.R. game, though I didn’t really care for the second one THAT much, however some of the aspects of this new one seem promising, so I’ll be sure to revisit it.
