Now I still don’t know how I feel about store specific DLC. I guess if it is single player DLC it doesn’t matter much but when they start handing out overpowered weapons for fps mp shooters were in for trouble. This game still doesn’t have me excited. Something about a dialogue driven drama says meh to me.

Yet another "great thing" about living here. No pre-order bonuses available. Anyway, I'm really curious about LA Noire.

Luke: I think they did an amazing job with the faces, I am just not sure this is a game for me. I may have to try it though. It did look really well done when I sat in the Rockstar Booth at Pax.

Except for the "Rockstar Booth" part, I feel the same way about this game.

I’m 99% there to buy or preorder near opening day rather than waiting for a sale. The fact that it’s the first game to be honored as an Official Selection at the Tribeca Film Festival pushed me to the edge: http://www.wired.com/gamelife/2011/03/la-noire-tribeca/

I just want to see some reviews first, but I’m thisclose to just plunking down my cash on it. And the Hero Edition of inFamous 2. *sigh*

Well, Wal-mart isn’t the only one to have exclusive pre-order content (and as I understand it, the come-on is for pre-orders only, not any Wal-mart purchase of the game, as your post might suggest — but do correct me if I’m mistaken about that).
