Heavy Rain’s Successor Details Released – Not True – April Fools
Quantic Dream designer David Cage had already said that a Heavy Rain sequel would be unlikely:
“I’m not sure there will be a Heavy Rain 2. I’m not a guy who does sequels, because, when you work on a story, you have something to say. It’s a response to a moment of your life and what you want to express. There are so many great stories to tell. That’s why just doing sequels of sequels of sequels doesn’t make any sense.”
However, he never said anything about not doing another similarly styled game. Well, now, new information has been leaked that details some of the plot for the next title. Check after the jump for more details about the plot.
The game will take place over a three day period of time, starting with Friday morning and ending Sunday night. Similar to Chapter 1 of Heavy Rain, your character wakes up at around 7AM, freshens up if you so choose, and walks downstairs for a bowl of cereal.
That’s when it gets exciting. Your whole word seems to be moving in fast forward. Time is goin’, tickin’ on and on, and everybody’s rushin’.
As you make your way to the bus stop, you have the choice to catch a ride with some of your friends. Another crucial choice has to be made here, as you have to decide to sit in the front seat or sit in the back seat.
Next, you realize that today, it’s Friday and that the partying will begin tonight. I don’t want to ruin more of the plot, but this is where the fun, fun, fun begins. Tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards.
We we we so excited, for this game!
