These six new screen shots from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, continue to show why it will definitely be a contender for game of the year. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, developed by Bethesda Game Studios, is the follow up to the 2006 Game of the Year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Skyrim will be released for the PS3 on November 11, 2011.

Those do look pretty dang good. I’m curious if it will play the same as Oblivion (mainly the “everything levels with you” aspect) which is what turned me off.

They actually released some new info on the game as well.
If it isn’t bugged it will be the most awesome RPG this year (I hope anyway), but it sure looks like it has the potential. Graphic, gameplay and story, everything looks great.

I’m stoked. Oblivion is probably my all-time fave RPG, and I am seriously considering buying a new desktop for Skyrim’s release. The superb user-designed mods really expanded and bettered Bethesda’s original product dramatically, and once people started releasing high-res re-texturing and re-bumpmapping graphical mods… my goodness, Oblivion looked hot. Still looks hot, actually.

IGN did a QA with one of the Devs.
There wasn’t that much “new info”, but they explained a lot of things that were merely outlined earlier.
You can read more about it here if you want!

Lol! Same here!
I’ve played oblivion on PC, but I’ll get Skyrim for the PS3.
@Oly Every interview I’ve seen stated “MP is not going to happen”

I am so glad this game will not support multiplayer. When this generation of consoles came out, I jumped right on the bandwagon and loved being online all the time. Now I’m getting tired of it and getting back to what gaming is REALLY about – awesome single player experiences.
THANK YOU Bethesda.
