Battlefield 3 Gets Bigger Ad Campaign

A twitter talkfest between some Battlefield fans and DICE Senior Video Director, Roland Smedberg shed light on Battlefield 3 TV ads, which plan to air this month. According to Smedberg, the ads don’t feature anything much particular from the footage seen in the Fault Line series, but DICE do plan to have a much bigger ad campaign this time around.

It looks like EA is trying to get Battlefield’s popularity up. What do you guys think about this?

    IDK, If I recall correctly, Sony had the BFBC2 ads. Hopefully, when advertising for the console version, Sony gets that, too. Microsoft can have their CoD ads all they want, though.

    Hey PC fine by me, lol as long as its not 360 for real, they get a lot of ads. SONY is to cheap in my opinion, hmmmm. But it sounds good, maybe ppl will go nuts just by watching trailers and well then they end up buying BF3 more than MW3. haha

    All I’m saying is they better start showing some in game console footage… Unless they are pulling a Homefront on us where the PC looks amazing and the console looks like shit and is missing features.
