PSM3 Magazine is speculating that another PS franchise could be getting the HD treatment very soon. There seems to be a large interest in playing older games in HD with trophy support, so why not?
What do you guys think it could be? Final Fantasy (FFX, FFX-2, FFXII), Syphon Filter, GTA series? So many choices!

I would hope they would remake metal gear solid 1-3 in HD that would me amazing! Equally exciting would be Vice City HD though. Come on Sony you can do it!

I hope it’s Ratchet and Clank. I would LOVE to replay those in HD with trophies. I collected everything in those games. Morph-o-ray and Sheepinator in HD? Epic fun.

Yep, have to agree with everyone. MGS seems to be what could be released. Maybe they could even port Twin Snakes from the GC to the PS3 and have a great HD version of the remake?

I would love to play an HD FFXII, that was one of my favorite games at the end of the ps2 lifecycle (pre ps3). I wouldn’t mind an HD DMC, or perhaps if they put the first three MGS games into the MGS4 engine, that would be awesome. HD Oddworld games too.

Man, don’t get me started on Twin Snakes. It’s bad enough they did rewrites for the dialogue, and they changed the voice actor for Mantis, but they make those damn over the top scenes whenever Gray Fox shows up. And I hate the changed dialogue so much XD.

I could say the same about The Beatles. I don’t listen to them at all, I have no interested in The Beatles, in MY opinion there are plenty of other good bands to listen to. But just because a group is old, doesn’t mean it’s bad to everyone. I love some old games, it’s not like a nostalgia thing, it’s just games that stand the test of time, if you will. I would replay MGS any time, or God of War, or Oddworld, they’re great games. I replay FF7 all lots.

Easy. I bought a ps2 few weeks ago and have been playing a lot of old titles. I can buy them for $1 used which is a lot cheaper then $64
