Hunted the Demon’s Forge: Screens & Crucible: Showcasing Dungeon Crawler Customization!!

Hunted the Demon’s Forge is looking better and better every time I see something new. This new video showcasing its “Crucible” mode, shows a little bit about how the “Create your own Dungeon Crawler” will work. Being able to share the created dungeons on the PSN will allow endless hours of play.

Hunted, a inXile Entertainment and Bethesda production, is completely designed around cooperative play with either an AI counterpart, or a friend via local split screen, or online.

“Set in a dark fantasy world, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge is an unforgettable cooperative action game, pitting you and your partner against waves of vicious enemies. Taking control of either E’lara, a ranged weapon expert, or Caddoc, a master swordsman, you must use a variety of weapons, powerful spells, and cover tactics to battle your way through menacing dungeons, overgrown ruins, and downtrodden towns. Discover secrets and complete co-op-based puzzles whilst exploring the sinister world to discover answers to the game’s deep, dark mysteries.”

Hunted is slated for release on the PlayStation 3, in North America on May 31, 2011 and across Europe on June 3, 2011.

Gears of hack and slash lol The dungeon mode has me very excited now. This has been on top of my list since it was first rumored to be a game in the working.

Never played Gears of War, as I’m a PS Fanboy, but everyone keeps saying it looks similar..

I also haven’t played GoW, so I can’t really comment on that.

However, I’m really on the fence about this title, and this new function just makes me more worried. The one thing I’m really not sure is the linearity and this just brings it up.

    Hope I’m wrong.
