BTW,

Lets not stroke someone else's ego. We all know that Mary Jane and her 420 friends caused this smokeout. Until the smoke clears, lets keep it that way.

Your All wrong! And quite frankly, Im disappointed in all of you pot smokers that are sitting there stoned in your vegatative state wondering why your PSN isn't connecting and completely ignored the fact that the servers went down on NONE OTHER than 4-20-11.

This was a MASSIVE PSN SMOKEOUT in one way or another.

I prefer my scenario that their IT Techs got so wasted on 4-20 that they mistook their servers for bongs, filled them with ice and water before they all took turns on Mary Jane's Hard but Ample drives.

I would have preferred that they invited some of us more seasoned IT Buffs so that we could have shown them what you can bake with some THC and an IP address. Apparently, they're fast learners at Sony!!!

So, in an effort to rectify this situation I am posting the name of the culprit that allowed all of these PSN partakers to complain. Now SONY must sit down and HASH this out. :-?

It's YOU!

Call your local Cannabis Club and see what secrets Sony has been learning the past 6 DAYS!!! Then smoke a fatty, play a boring ass campaign game and reminisce the days of ONLINE GAMING.

TRUST ME, Your not alone.

anonymous: I’ll believe anonymous before I believe another lie from SONY…funny how in the SONY updates they sincerely “regret” but NOT “apologize”…SONY still arrogant as usual which is what got them into this mess. what really happened is that some people jumped into the PSN store and took free stuff so SONY being classy as they are decide to shut down the entire PSN for a few shoplifters. SONY doesn’t even know if your credit card info has been compromised at all.but hey they deserve this for DEMANDING the IP addresses/personal information of people who have so much as glanced at a ps3 hack site during the geohot case (for either curiosity, wanting to hack the ps3, or maybe getting linked there by accident or something). and if anybody is going to even try to defend SONY for that then I’ll just shake my head in disgust over defending a company that’s arrogant and lies and doesn’t care about their customers enough to even give a damn apology in their PSN outage updates.

You should learn to research stuff a bit more before spouting off about it. Fine you hate Sony. Its your right. However let me fix a few of your incorrect reasons.

Sony never "demanded" the IP's of people who visited Geohot's site. It was "requested" to the judge and approved by the judge in order to make a stance on jurisdiction. To all of those who do not know, Geohot's lawyers also obtained this info for the exact same reason as sony's lawyers and that was to use the data to make a claim of jurisdiction. Sony nor Geohot have this list, Sony's lawyers, Geohots lawyers and the Judge has this list. If you're going to blame sony for this, you also need to blame Geohot for this as his lawyers used the info in the exact same way as Sony.

and even if sony deserves this in some weird twised way, do the consumers deserve this? how about the developers? They are the ones getting hurt here.
