Great Deals In-bound; Portal 2! MK!

GameStop takes $20 off Portal 2
This seems to be the norm lately at Target as well.

Toys-R-Us has Mortal Kombat for $39.99 and also has an in-store $10 off coupon located at the front of the store, so grab that for another $10 off of it.

K-Mart has Portal 2 at $34.99 and also has a $15 off MotorStorm Apocalypse coupon.

Amazon has matched Toys-R-Us on Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 as seen HERE.

I said it before and Ill say it again, don’t buy day 1 and you can save tons a week later. This seems to be the new flow of these titles. $59 one week and $39 the next. Enjoy the deals!

Wow, that is pretty amazing. 33% off a week later? Why the hell do prices fall so precipitously? You’re starting to make me rethink my preorders, especially when the pre-order bonus isn’t especially interesting. However, I do like Amazon’s frequent come-on that gives one a $10 gift certificate for a future game purchase when one pre-orders. That’s, well, sort of like $10 off.

Target always has the games marked down to $39 in store 1 week later. Big lots even sales them at $24 on weekends. If you buy day 1 for $59 your wasting money imo.

Big Lots? Like the store that sold Eckerd’s stock after the chain went belly-up? I had no idea that Big Lots sold current gen games, or game at all, for that matter.

@Jason: Thanks for the deals! Don’t think I’ll buying any games soon, but it’s always great to know in case a gift card finds it’s way to me hehehe.

I won’t be getting any games day 1 for the rest of the year since too many expenses+huge backlog+month old daughter+car insurance+whatever else decides to destroy my games budget = no games for now.

I wish they made those deals around here. Instead prices usually go up because the games (specially not mainstream titles) are scarce. I hate that.

Portal 2 is still a no show.
