The Dead Block Shall Soon Rise from the Dead!

… well, at least once PSN is back online and all the other releases that would have launched in the last couple of missed store updates play catch up. Good thing this is set for a summer release!

All we have for now is a teaser trailer (posted below) and some basic info about how the game will be structured. It has zombies (a must for any game in the 21st century), it has survivors (what fun would a zombie game be without a group of detailed, stylized and curiously inclined humans?), and it mixes 3rd person action (the game uses the Unreal 3 engine, so 3rd person comes naturally) with tower defense strategy (love me some towers, love me some defenses).

Looking forward to it, and here’s hoping we get a chance to review this at ps3blog.net!

    I wish they would stop posting things about up coming games and other things, because the only thing anybody cares about is when the PSN comes back up. They should focus on finding a time its back, then return to posting other news

    @Dave I personally care about actual gaming news and I do know many others here do as well.

    Eden, nice find! I haven’t heard about that game but it seems kind of fun! I’d like to see how gameplay works to see if it’s worth the purchase, but it sure got me interested!

    Having an outage post every time an article is posted is just stupid. We aren’t going to be posting any more of those unless the updates have very important information, or the PSN resumes service. Other than that? It’s not really worth mentioning. I prefer actual news articles over PSN outage posts. At least we, then, know of other stuff going on in the gaming world.

    I’m sure Sony is going to tell their PR guys and Marketing department to stop what they are doing and bring their server inexperience in to help bring the servers up faster :P

    @Eddie: They should!
