I’m loving this game so far. The landscapes look incredible.
I’ve seen some preview and they look very promising too!

Yeah this is going to be a great game I hope lol, its a RPG action game so I guess it will be like Mass Effect 2.

Well yeah its going to be like one of those games, but if you look it up it does say RPG action and Mass Effect 2 was RPG action Fallout is the same, so I guess we have to wait and see.

@Yourgor: Sure, it’s a action RPG, but what I meant is the pace of ME2 is much slower than expected for this game, which will probably be pretty crazy, as it’s a zombie infestation.
Also ME2 is first and foremost a Storytelling game and secondarily a shooter/action game. Dead Island will probably be the opposite, a FPS primarily with some RPG elements.
So it’ll probably play more in the likes of Fallout, also because the sceneries will be devastated (not infertile however). In the end, it will be very different from both games I think, but that’s a good thing. I’m sure it’ll be a great game.

It’s going to be a FPM (First Person Melee) for the most part, with a “few” guns lying around. It will also be a open world game. As far as RPG, it’s said to have RPG aspects, not be a true RPG. This will be nothing like ME and doubt it will be close to Fallout. I’m expecting more of a FP type Just Cause 2 without all the weapons or vehicles.

Gah! The suspense for killing zombies is killing me, as a hardcore fan of the genre, I am looking forward to this game very much.

So far, so good. They have my money as it is, but it they would kindly give me a CE with an artbook+soundtrack combo that would be great.
