yea this really isnt ever worth it, #1 you should build a collection of games, i think trading in games is a rip off #1, even if ur a edge memeber. the stuff that u get for 4$ at a store is worth 4000 points, on top of that u only 10 points per $1. so u need to spend $400 to get a $4 wallet. Awesome. (scenario) -> yea. okay another think I buy kz3 on opening day, next i want to trade it in. okay um youll get $35-45. um I just lost $20. Its really stupid. If I were you no matter what they said, I’d never trade in a game. But I would love to buy Infamous 2.

Depends if you watch the ads via the site and take advantage of their offers. Printing off a 50% extra trade in on your used game for 1000 points on top of the extra $10 for 3 traded deals etc nets you almost full price you paid. I got $53 when I traded my KZ3 in at the time. So basically I paid $6 to rent it for a month. Platinum-ed and sold. Im still ticked off they arent adding maps to the only mode worth playing on that game, which is why I traded. So bottom line its only worth it if you know how to milk their system. Craigslist is still the best route to go but some people will take advantage of this offer. nba2k and ncaa are worth getting rid of. they are only $19 new so your getting a full refund on them.

Games that are released on a yearly bases, are not worth the buy most of the time, unless its the only game you buy, such sports games, for those who play every type of game, and buy madden one year, its smart to trade it towards the next one. But like its not smart to trade certain games. COD isn’t worth it -> Scenario I buy MW2 opening day now BO is coming out I go to trade in it in 3 weeks before the game, they give me $1for it, I pay $55 now. I look at the shelf and a used copy of MW2 cost $55, and new one cost about $60. They always raise the price of every COD game, before the new one releases. and I mean all the COD games like MWs W@W, and most likely BO.

The biggest rip off is on consoles. They say trade it in now and $50. (this when it first came out) I pay $600 for a PS3 <- id never trade it in but my cuz wanted too. He was told he would get $200 for it that’s it. Yea $400 loss right there. Its never worth it really, taking advantage is not always easy.
