Battlefield 3 | FPS Voice Over Record?!
Posted by Ace in Battlefield 3, PS3, PS3 software on May 26th, 2011

DICE Voice Over Producer, Tomas Danko has been tweeting some very entertaining pieces of information about some of the voice overs used in Battlefield 3. He points out that no other FPS video game has ever had this many voice over variations for multiplayer with over 300 alone just for the “man down” event.
Some of Danko’s tweets:
- 158 hours total overtime and counting. It’s not even crunch time yet, so bring it on. Let’s aim for the 500 mark on launch day!

It’s been a while since our last game night. So we ran a poll on our 2nd PS3BlogCast asking you what game you want to play on the next game night and the winner was Uncharted 2! Which is still a blast to play, really looking forward to see what they do with Uncharted 3 multiplayer!
I’ll be hanging around in the PS3Blog.net Home Clubhouse about 10 minutes before we begin if you want to hang out there for a bit. We have a virtual Slurpee machine, arcades machines, pool table, darts and a golden throne for you to try out.

Sony Reports Yet Another Security Breach.
Posted by PAUL FIERCE in PS3, PSN, QuickNews on May 25th, 2011

Yes. You read that right. This time the target was the Sony Ericsson Canada website. Sony also reported attacks in the Music Entertainment front of its Indonesia and Thailand websites however no data was stolen.
The hackers got away with approximately 2,000 personal data from Canada and 8,500 from Greece. The company said emails, phone numbers, and passwords of users were stolen but no credit card details were lost. Sony has temporarily shut down the websites.
Deathspank 3: The Baconing
What great news today! My all time favorite PSN game has another sequel on its way. Deathspank, and Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue are by far my favorite PSN released games to date. Not only are they great games, but I have never laughed so hard in a game as I have with these two. The dialog is amazingly funny. With the promise of “a greatly improved follow-up” to these releases, I anticipate another, romping good time, on Deathspank’s “quest for the Fires of Bacon.”
The following Press Release sums it up best:

PS3 and PSP Bundles incoming
Posted by Jason in Greatest Hits, Hardware, PS3, PS3 software, PSP, QuickNews on May 25th, 2011
Looks like we have a few new bargains in the form of bundles coming our way. The first is the Dad’s and Grad’s bundle featuring MLB The Show and GranTurismo along with a 2gb memory card and a piano black PSP.
You can grab one for $159.99 this June. Honestly I have both titles and these are some graphical power house’s with killer game play. Great bundle idea. The next bundle is a Black Ops bundle featuring a PlayStation 3 slim and Black ops for $299.99 The first strike DLC is included. Personally, I feel this game is so flawed, I cant believe they are giving it a bundle. The name alone will sell it I guess. May 31st is the release date.
